The goofy pop-punk trio of Brooder consists of two friends who simply go by the name of Dots (vocals/bass) and Steve (guitar/vocals), as well as whomever they can find on drums. Based out of Waterford City, Ireland, the band got its start in 1996 and self-released their debut EP Gravy that same year.
Eventually, the band left their basement practice space and began playing around locally before their follow-up EP Evil Eye came out in 1997. ~ Mike DaRonco
