Through the years Bret has been asked to audition for, or join several well known acts both as a Guitarist and/or Singer (Ozzy Osbourne / Night Ranger / Frank Hannon Band, etc.). As a songwriter he has co-written with hit songwriter Andre Pessis and others. Bret has also worked closely with A&R legend Don Grierson and many other notable industry executives.

Bret is a founding member of Northern California's - 'Walking Tall' : Co-Lead Vocalist, Lead Guitarist, Piano Player, one of two primary songwriters, co-visionary/businessman.

'Walking Tall' has released 2 albums "Volume I" And "Volume II". Two new albums are planned for 2016. With a strong social presence, they currently have well over 68,000 likes on Facebook, over 60,000 followers on Twitter and are one of the highest ranking artist on Reverbnation. A rapidly growing global fan base since their formation in Feb. 2014

Their sound is song oriented classic rock with a touch of modern country.
