The Blow-Ups are the exciting Garage-Beat-Punk-Trio from Berlin, Germany. Since Summer 2004 we "Back Beat" at every "Battle-Of-The-Band-Contest" ;-) We are playing a mixture of Sixties Beat, Rhythm & Blues and Early 60ies-Garage-Punk. You will also discover our liking for Early Sixties Detroit Soul. Most of the songs we play live are own originals. Our sound is authentic, fresh & powerfull, groovy, exciting & unique. You cant resist to dance! See you at our next gig in your neighbourhood!!

The Blow-Ups sind ein Berliner 60s Trio, das seit 2004 besteht. Wir machen einen eigenwilligen und sehr tanzbaren Stilmix aus 60s Beat, R'n'B und Garage mit Schwerpunkt auf letzterem. Wer genau hinhört, kann auch manchmal Punk- oder frühe Detroit-Soul-Einflüsse bemerken. Inzwischen besteht ein Großteil unseres Materials aus Eigenkompositionen.

Ende 2006 erschien eines unserer Stücke auf dem in Großbritannien veröffentlichten Mod- und Garagesampler „Soul Like Fire“ (Rowed Out Records). 2010 wurde die Mini-CD „Explode“ als Eigenproduktion veröffentlicht. Seit 2011 werden wir von Peer als zweitem Schlagzeuger unterstützt und treten manchmal auch als Quartett auf. 2012 folgten neue Studioaufnahmen und erste Auftritte im Ausland (Istanbul). Für Ende 2013 ist unsere erste LP (Teen Sound Records) geplant. Das aktuelle Line-Up besteht aus (Ex-)Mitgliedern der Liquid Visions, The No-Counts, The Vampires, Frogrammers, Johnny No & The No-men, Roy Wilde & El Perro und der Rhythm & Beat Organization.
