The BLACK SHEEP was born in the year 2010 as a cover band formed by some friends coming from two bands now splitted: vocalist Paolo Veluti and drummer Claudio Bianchi of "Powerhouse" (Deep Purple tribute band) and guitarist Luigi Stefli with bassist Roberto Bonvini, ex "5150" (Van Halen tribute band).
Paola Cioccolanti was at the backing vocals.

Together, they combine their passion for rock and give life to this new hard rock & metal project.

In May of 2011 Roberto leaves the band and Silvia Preda joins the BLACK SHEEP as the new bass player.

After about 1 year and an half of gigs, in October 2012, also Claudio and Silvia leave the band, so Paolo and Luigi think about a new start for the BLACK SHEEP, and they start to write some new songs with the idea of recording an EP.

The style is a good and sincere metal, with heavy riffs but also much melody.

The recordings are started in June 2013, with the supervision of Daniele Mandelli (sound engineer and guitar player of "Dark Horizon"); bass and drums are played, respectively, by Stefano Schembari and Corrado Bertonazzi.

Publication of the first EP is scheduled for winter 2013.
