His four octave tenor denotes a silky smooth character reminiscent of Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson.

Barry has performed with a wide variety of artists such as Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, RnB artists Kashief, The Chi-Lites, Rock and roller Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Buddy Miles, Uncle Charlie Wilson, The Brothers Johnson, Lakeside’s Steve Shockley, Leon Sylvers and a host of other well known major stars. He currently performs with the RnBebop group Augie’s Side Effect.

Barry also writes and produces most of his own music and has had the opportunity to work with a lot of today’s up and coming artists. When asked what he loves about the recording process Barry states “I love taking a song from a simple idea to a finished product. Performing in front of crowds is satisfying in its own way, but behind the scenes where you actually get to shape and mold a song into a finished product is a mind blowing experience”.
