Christina Thompson, formerly known as Chris Taylor, is a Diva in every sense of the word.
She is a singing/vocal trainer & player of all keys Diva. Her musical training began in a small town in Kentucky, to landing a position at the Late James Cleveland’s Cornerstone Institutional Baptist Church of Los Angeles back in 1974. At the same time Chrissie was a Beverly Hills housekeeper for the late Bob “Wolfman Jack” Smith & family. She was also the protégé of two artists: The keyboard player for Tina Turner, the late Mr. Kenny Moore; and also Frank Zappa organist & Motown recording artist (MANDRE), the late Michael Andre Lewis.

After CA, she made her way to Memphis and became the Minister of Music for Rev. Al Green's church, where in 1983 she wrote & recorded 4 songs on Green’s album project called, “AL GREEN PRESENTS THE FULL GOSPEL TABERNACLE CHOIR”, on the Myrrh label. Also while in Memphis, Chris performed at the famous “Blues Alley”. For that gig, she was named, “Big Mama Chrissie Thompson”, by long time Al Green guitarist, Larry Lee. She still likes that name.

Also in 1984 Chris became a 'New Life' singer for Dr. Bobby Jones. She traveled with them to the PTL Club in N. Carolina and also performed in a video that was taped after the Dove awards called The CAUSE video. She enjoyed her life & times with Dr. Jones & New Life. He taught her that when he points at you, you "SANG GIRL"! She did just that.

After moving to Colorado from Memphis IN '88' Chrissie became that “Black Lady on the Organ”, in the early 90’s for Bishop Dennis Leonard formerly of the Heritage Christian Center of Denver, playing the Hammond B3 organ. The list is endless of all the famous Bishops & gospel singers she accompanied while employed by HCC. In Denver Chrissie’s first acting role in ‘92’-‘93’was that of Aretha Franklin in a play called, "Dancin in the Streets", at the Garner Galleria Theater.

During the “Columbine” era Chrissie & family lived in Littleton, CO. Chris and her husband Maurice worked as praise & worship leaders for five years for Pastor Dave Duell of Faith Ministries in Littleton. While at Faith Ministries Chris produced her husband's CD project called, "MANIFESTATION" by Maurice Thompson & Friends on an Aussie label. Chrissie also worked for 18 weeks during the time of the Columbine high school tragedy, as Min. of Music for Trinity Christian Center, also in Littleton.

Miss Chrissie can come from many ends on playing styles but she prefers her own “Bump”. Her Bump is a saloon/gospel style she picked up learning under the “Ambassador” of the Tina Turner band, the late “Kenny Moore”. Chris learned from Kenny how to be out front in the spotlight, as well as in the back with the band.
