Hi, my name is Lynelle J. Horton from Charlotte, NC.
I'm a well driven individual With the determination to succeed in the clothing industry. I love fashion and the feeling of wearing that new shirt or new pair of jeans. you feel good inside and out. its always been an enjoyment for me since a young kid. Creativity is what I'm defined as, because my hobbies or trades were music and art. when I was a young boy my mother said I drawn a shopping chart. As I got older it was cartoon characters, basketball players( Michael Jordan 23) slam dunking, cars with sound systems, Mansions with oceans and birds in the background on a sunny day, people with 14k big gold chains, etc...I just loved drawing as a young kid and did excellent in all art classes in school. I'm not claming to be very good drawer, but I can draw from a creative mind. As a teenager I developed a skill of making music. It started from rapping over peoples songs ten instrumentals. We were rapping or spittin in school, the streets, parks, hallways, houses, outside in all kinds of weather. Growing up in Long Island, NY everyone knows how to rap or sing. Then I was giving a casio keyboard as a gift for Christmas. I began to connect the keyboard to a turntable mixture board on one channel. I aslo had 2 cassette players connected as well. All devices were plugin to a radio receiver for sound power. I created a beat by playing one instrument at a time. I played a drum or hi hat for 2 to 3 minutes by itself while recording on tapedeck#2. took the cassette out of tapedeck two when finished and played the one instrument recording in tapedeck #1. While the drum or hi hat is playing in tapedeck#1, then I played another instrument from the casio keyboard for 2-3 minutes while recording it on tapedeck #2. Now you have two instruments recorded in tapedeck #2. take the two instrument recordings and play it in tapedeck #1 Use the casio keyboard to make another instrument such as, a violin or strings for 2-3 minutes. Now you have three instruments being recorded. I continued these steps a few more times with different instruments created a rap instrumental beat. Pretty much I had shoe boxes full of cassette tapes with beats I've made over the years. After power being turned off and unplugged because of loud music. I began to think that this isn't something i'll do as a career. In the year of 2009-2010 I began to think about making a clothing line towards an urban demographic. I was looking in these fashion magazines and was inspired. I looked up online and researched about how to make a clothing line and the business aspect of it. I later used my art creativity from the years and designed clothing on online websites. I have T-shirts, Sweaters, jackets, socks, hats, umbrella's designed or in drawings. While I'm still doing research about the clothing industry I'm almost ready to take the first step and copyright my brand. The feeling and the dream of creating a clothing line and people can appreciate and wear the clothing would be a dream come true for me. I AM A DREAMER!!!!
