Beanz, whose birth name is Benerick Cadet was born on Feb 13th 1989 in Freeport, Bahamas but comes from a Haitian background.
He grew up with his mother, three brothers, and one sister. Beanz never knew his real father but did have a stepfather around for a while. He spent the younger days of his life in the Bahamas where he faced many obstacles and adversities. With a decent size family and little to live on Beanz, his mother, and his siblings at one point slept in a small four wall bedroom which resulted in many nights of sleeping on the floor. His family eventually moved to Miami, FL and 5 years later moved to West Palm Beach, FL. Life in the States hasn't been all that grand either. The fastest way for Beanz to counteract with this way of living as an immigrant was by living the street life. This choice eventually landed him in jail for 2 years where he found his voice through his music. Beanz started rapping when he was just only 14 years old. He layed down his first track when he was 16 years old And Released His First Mixtape at 18 Years Old with Baton Rouge native and good friend Young G the day he got out of jail. Just like his life his music is raw and uncut that's the reason why others can't help but to love the passion that comes from it. The streets love his art and they are captivated by its honesty and deliverance. This gives him a sense of accomplishment with great pride and dignity. To be able to do something with all your heart, mind, and soul and have others enjoy it is an incredible feeling for Beanz. He has now dedicated nearly all of his time on music from recording in studios, performing shows, writing, and promoting his songs. Now a days Beanz is working on a few new projects and he often refers to music as "something I loved at a young age before I even knew how to rap." As long as life continues to be a never-ending battle Beanz determines to never end what sets him apart from the rest of the world, his music.
