Born and raised in Lagos state, Nigeria. Growing up listening to music, J. BARS fell in love with Hip-Hop, seeing the ability to express himself, he started writing in 2007, in High school.

J. BARS is one of Nigeria's fast growing Hiphop artistes. Jesse Jagz compares him with Notorious B.I.G, and J. Cole.

J. Bars teams up with Dynasty of Drizzle Crew on a collaboration titled 'Blind to the Ordinary' (B.t.t.O). Featuring artistes like Tizzle, Phlowetry, and Lloyd Manson.

Precocious, J. BARS is currently working on his first E.P, to be released before the end of 2014.

Studied physics at the University of Benin, where he formed his first group called League of Xtraordinary Rappers (L.X.R) with Dupree, and Govo, but later split after graduation. J. BARS is currently a member of Jagz Nation.
