B.T.A

Nearly 25 years ago the original band gigged at several venues up and down California and Nevada. In the mid 80's the group disbanded as some left to attend college, some to begin careers in the military, others got married and began to raise their families. The remaining members of the group continued to perform, produce or open for various group sand notables as Con Funk Shun, Chic, Heatwave, Narada Michael Walden, Connie and toured across the US, Japan and Germany.

Five years ago the main core of the band hooked up to do a few corporate performances. Many came up and gave the band "mad props",looking to book for future events. It was at that time all of us wondered if we're up for getting back in the groove and get..BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.

Since our return our loyal and large following has grown after every performance. Venues such as Cibo Ristorante, Sly McFlys, Bluefin in Monterey, The Fuse Lounge in Carmel, Casa Sorrento, El Callejon, Green Valley Grill in the Central Valley, the Crows Nest in Santa Cruz, Club Massimos and Gerry's Grill in the east bay have been packed houses with an audience of old school funkateers and todays new school hip hop audience. BTA was afforded the opportunity to display their talents performing at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, The Monterey Calamari and Clam Chowder Festival and Castroville Artichoke Festival.
