Formed in 1999 by the guitarist singerDagoth, joins not much time after by Rydelth (keyboard), as well as Ceptis (bass).Compositionsof the band evolve in a cold, unhealthy, aggressive, melodic and fast style.

In 2001,they auto product their first demo of two titles

At theend of the year 2003, Assacrentis records a Maxi cd four titles entitled "The Secrets From The Past, in a Symphonic Melodic Black metal style.

Thegroup strengthens its ranks with the arrival of the drummer Artgath a littletime after the recording of the demo.

In 2005Artgath leaves the band to be replaced by Abaddon to the drum

Walfnir joinsthe band as the second guitarist in 2007.Over the years the band delivers numerousconcerts in the PACA region, as well as several dates on France.

In 2008the band split.

At theend of 2012 the group re-forms in trio, with Dagoth: guitar - voice, Ceptis:bass, Abaddon: drum.

InFebruary, 2013 Assacrentis brings out its first album entitled "Put themto fire and sword", mixed and mastered in Omen Studio at Los Angeles byDamien Rainaud, ("Artgath" Old drummer of Assacrentis) who had begunto be recorded in 2007 before their separation.

Onemonth later, the band goes on tour throughout France for the promotion of itsfirst album.
