The Jonas Brothers are headed to the beach — in the 1980s!
Following the success of their single “Sucker,” the newly reunited band released the new music video for their song “Cool” at midnight on Friday.
The 3-minute clip sees Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas hit the sand in Miami Beach, Florida, where they playfully tap into the Miami Vice aesthetic just in time to potentially nab the title of perfect summer anthem.
With the song’s opening lines, sung by Nick, the band is dressed in matching blue suits as they perform for a group of excited senior citizens at a low-key, colorful oceanside motel.
In the next scene, Nick, 26, is backed by over a dozen women clad in ’80s-era neon Spandex, who dance in synchronized fashion alongside a moving yellow sports car while the singer grooves down the palm-lined street.
Joe, 29, takes the next solo, holding up a boombox on the beach and dancing in a suit while gatherers frolic in more appropriate sun-and-surf attire.
His lyrics include a cheeky nod to girlfriend Sophie Turner‘s HBO series, as he croons at one point, “Oh, I feel like Post Malone when I get home / Sittin’ there winning like it’s Game of Thrones.”
The rest of the not-to-be-missed clip includes parrots, the guys hanging out onboard a boat and Nick wearing a fanny pack. Kevin, 31, even plays a metal detector like a guitar in one scene.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a press release from Republic Records described the new video’s theme as “1984 Miami” that was crafted to evoke “the spirit of timeless eighties MTV in all its decadent glory.”
“Cool” comes a little over a month after the guys announced they were reuniting as a band and dropped the music video for “Sucker,” which starred all their significant others: Turner, 23, plus Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas and Nick’s wife Priyanka Chopra.
The sexy video saw the group rock numerous avant-garde costumes as they lived out their Alice in Wonderland fantasies around Hatfield House in England — Queen Elizabeth I’s childhood home.
Throughout the video, each couple got their chance to shine — and share some PDA — before they all came together as a group and posed while an artist painted their portrait.
