Ariana Grande was tearin’ up hearts at Coachella this weekend — with a little help from some friends.
On Sunday, the pop star took the stage for the first of two headlining sets at this year’s annual musical festival in Indio, California and not only was the performance crammed full of hits, it also featured a selection of famous faces.
Grande set the tone, kicking things off with “God Is a Woman” — the hit second single from her fourth studio album Sweetner — before segueing into “Bad Idea,” her most recent single from the thank u, next album. The singer then performed “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” a song that samples the No Strings Attached ‘NSYNC album track “It Makes Me Ill” — and, to the audience’s pleasure — Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick joined Grande on stage. Sadly Justin Timberlake was not present to complete the boy-band lineup — he finished up his Man of the Woods tour on Saturday — but Grande took over singing his parts.

Following the performance, Fatone posted his appreciation on Instagram, writing: “Thanks @arianagrande for having us…was a great time and a chance to perform with my brothers once again!”

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one night, the rest of Grande’s nearly 90-minute set also saw guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Mase. Minaj joined the Grande on stage for their collaborations “Side to Side” and “Bang Bang” while Diddy and Mase appeared to pay tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., performing “Mo Money Mo Problems” with the headliner singing Faith Evans’ verse. Grande finished the evening with a fitting encore of smash hit “thank u, next.”
