All Hemsworths look alike, right?
As far as Jimmy Fallon is concerned in this bit from The Tonight Show, that is accurate.
Fallon mistakes his latest guest, Liam Hemsworth, for every Hemsworth but Liam Hemsworth in the awkward elevator scene. Granted, there are only three Hemsworth brothers.
No, Fallon, he’s not Chris Hemsworth, star of the Thor movies and Avengers: Endgame. No, he’s not Luke Hemsworth, the star of HBO’s Westworld who also happened to play Thor in that play-within-a-movie in Thor: Ragnarok.
It’s okay, though, because the Hunger Games and Independence Day: Resurgence actor confused Fallon with all sorts of other celebrities, like Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory and Josh Radnor’s Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother.
“Bachelor contestant season 10?” Hemsworth asked. “Founder of Facebook? … “Large green giant, leafy toga, sells frozen peas? … “Semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal native to Eastern Australia and Tasmania?”
But the one that really crushed Fallon was mistaking him for Jimmy Kimmel. That’s a cardinal sin of late-night TV.
