but the newly-engaged actor isn’t upset about it.

During Monday’s episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, the television host broached the subject of Pratt’s loss, remarking, “That must have been hard to take.”

Like a good sport, Pratt, 39, shared that “it was just an honor to be nominated.”

“You were nominated with every Chris there is, so it’s not really an honor,” DeGeneres jokingly pointed out.

Pratt replied, “Well, I got nominated when my mom named me Chris, and I was honored,” before sharing that he fully stood behind Hemsworth’s status as “Sexiest Chris.”

“Look, I gotta be honest with you, he has my vote too. I mean look at him. The man is gorgeous,” Pratt said, while a large photo of Hemsworth, 35, and his 8-pack abs appeared on the screen behind them. Their Avengers: Infinity War costar Chris Evans and The Mindy Project‘s Chris Messina were also nominated in the category.

When DeGeneres pointed out that Pratt’s abs can look just as impressive, the actor self-deprecatingly said there was no comparison.

“Mine has a lot more airbrush,” he said.

However, when DeGeneres pulled up a shirtless photo of Pratt, even the star was taken aback by how he looked.

After appraising his image, Pratt asked DeGeneres, “You know what that look on my face is?”

Without skipping a beat, Degeneres replied, “Hunger?”

Laughing, Pratt said, “Yeah. That’s exactly what that was.”

While Pratt has had roles in some of Hollywood’s biggest films — namely Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers —the star admitted that he felt a little nervous before asking for Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s blessing to propose to his oldest child, 29-year-old daughter Katherine.

“Well, I think any person who appreciates the tradition and asks a father for his daughter’s hand in marriage, it’s inevitably something that’s going to make you a little nervous,” Pratt recently told Extra. “But that’s sort of the beauty of it.”

Pratt announced their engagement on Instagram last month, writing, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go! 💍🙏??.”

His relationship with Schwarzenegger first heated up 10 months after the actor’s separation from Anna Faris, when the couple was spotted out together on Father’s Day having a picnic in the park in Santa Barbara. They were later seen on dates around Los Angeles and outings with Pratt’s six-year-old son Jack in tow.

“They’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. “Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine. She’s very excited.”

“Chris and Katherine are very happy together,” added the source. “They’re very compatible and have a lot in common.”
