This will be his sixth album this year...

Kanye West has announced the release of yet another new album, which is widely believed to be a follow-up to 2013’s seminal ‘Yeezus‘.

West has released five records in 2018 so far, known as the ‘Wyoming’ albums, including the divisive solo record ‘ye‘ and acclaimed Kid Cudi collaboration ‘Kids See Ghosts‘. While he’s also claimed that a sequel to ‘Watch The Throne’ is coming “soon” while he also seems to be working on his long-awaited collaboration with Chance The Rapper,  Kanye has now announced that another new record ‘Yandhi’ is coming on September 29.

The rapper announced the record featuring artwork of a jewel case, baring a striking resemblance to that of ‘Yeezus’.

When Kanye was announced as the first musical guest on the new season of SNL last night, he first teased the record by sharing the show’s running order with ‘Yandhi’ in place of his own name – as well as tweeting out the jewel case image.

As Consequence Of Sound reports, Def Jam Records (the parent company of Kanye’s GOOD Music) then delivered a coy response to speculation that the album will indeed be ‘Yeezus’ follow-up.

Meanwhile, the star recently previewed a new clip of music on his Instagram story. The short snippet soundtracked videos of him getting in a white car and then leaving the same vehicle and entering a studio space. It featured West singing in falsetto and using lots of vocal effects.
