The rapper will set out on the road in North America in May with the likes of SZA, ScHoolboy Q and more

 

Kendrick Lamar has announced a brand new set of live dates for 2018 in the form of ‘The Championship Tour’.

Lamar, who released his fourth studio album ‘DAMN.’ last year, has increased his touring commitments for the year ahead, with the Compton rapper already due to undertake a UK and European tour next month.

The 30-year-old has now revealed a new set of tour dates which will see him and a roster of exciting artists go on the road in North America in May. The ‘Championship Tour’ will feature Lamar being supported by several of his Top Dawg labelmates, including ‘Ctrl’ artist SZA, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. 

Jay Rock, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker will also join Lamar for the jaunt, which kicks off in Vancouver, Canada on May 4. Tickets for the tour go on sale this week, with more information available here.

Lamar was confirmed last week as a live performer at the 2018 Grammys, which will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday (January 28). 

Also joining Lamar in the new additions to the show are U2, Sam Smith, and Elton John. The latter will perform one of his classic hits with Miley Cyrus.
