Cancel those weekend plans because it’s almost time for Fun Mom Dinner.

The upcoming comedy stars Toni Collette, Molly Shannon, Bridget Everett, and Katie Aselton as a group of moms eager to have a fun and casual dinner together. The only hitch? They’re not the biggest fans of each other… yet.

As the trailer above reveals, what starts out as a relaxing evening quickly turns into a wild night filled with karaoke, mom-targeted weed, and a bartender played by Maroon 5 frontman (and The Voice judge) Adam Levine. And that’s not the only place where comedy lies. Adam Scott and Ron Huebel play dad friends tasked with looking after their kids, but they run into a few locked-door mishaps.

Also starring in the movie, which was written by Julie Yaeger Rudd and directed by Alethea Jones, is Paul Rudd, David Wain, The Goldbergs‘ Sam Lerner, and 13 Reasons Why‘s Kathryn Prescott.

“It’s so easy to lump them into a generic ‘mum’ category,” Collette told EW last year about the four women at the center of the movie. “But they’re all strikingly different, and they all go out on this night together with varying degrees of reluctance and willingness.”

Fun Mom Dinner opens in select theaters and video on demand on Aug. 4.
