Callie may have survived Daddy the pimp...

Callie may have survived Daddy the pimp, but, like her adoptive mom said at the end of Monday’s season 5 premiere of The Fosters, next time she “could be carried out in a body bag.”

Stef’s lecture about Callie’s terrifying, life-threatening decisions (running off with a drug dealing, gun-toting pimp, breaking and entering, the list goes on) will continue into the second episode of the season. And, as you can see in the exclusive clip above, this time, she’s got backup. Both Lena (Sherri Saum) and Callie’s birth father, Robert (Kerr Smith), have joined in the conversation.

“I know I’m not your parent, but I want to help,” Robert pleads with the troubled teen. Callie (Maia Mitchell) may not want it, but Lena and Stef (Teri Polo) sure do. “I just want to spend more time with you and support you and making better decisions,” he goes on to explain.

“You have nothing but opportunity in front of it if you so choose it,” Stef says. “You need to decide who you want to be going forward because this, this girl is not acceptable.”

See how Callie handles that dose of reality in the clip above, and watch the new episode of The Fosters, directed by Danny Nucci (who plays Mike on the series), on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
