Fans of Grime are enjoying what can only be described as golden years. There are artists popping up from all corners of the UK with exceptional mention going to the genre’s home, London. AJ Tracey is one of those artists, he’s still relatively unknown but sits at the top of the pile of young exciting upstarts following closely on the heels of Stormzy and Skepta. Many have been asking the question, “Who is AJ Tracey?” Luckily, we’ve got that answered for you.
What’s AJ Tracey Up To?
Well… AJ said he was leaving Twitter for a bit, with fans to expect something soon.

That’s usually a promising sign these days that a decent body of music is soon to follow. That tweet was posted at the beginning of June 2017, so fans can probably expect something in the coming month or two.
He’s been using his time promoting his buddy, Dave’s new track 100M’s. Watch out for the unexpected cameo.

He’s also been building his reputation in the USA as well. AJ featured on Aminé’s track REDMERCEDES alongside Missy Elliott. He features on the final verse and his swaggering, unapologetically British verse is worth hanging around for.

In the buildup to the latest UK election, the British Labour party pushed hard for the youth vote. They looked to grime stars to spearhead the engagement of a previously disenfranchised youth audience.
AJ Tracey eloquently jumped into the fray, sharing this heartfelt message.
