Batman and Spider-man may be household names today, but they better watch the throne. There’s a new gang of superheroes in town – and they’re ready to steal the proverbial crown.

Here are 10 seriously underrated superheroes ready to take up the mantle as America’s Favorite. Because, really, who needs more Funko Pop! figurines of the same dozen characters, just in different iterations of the same outfit...?

Silk

Cindy Moon, aka Silk, is Marvel’s first Korean-American female superhero.

Bitten by the same radioactive spider as Peter Parker, she has all the same powers as Spider-man (and then some). Unfortunately for her, she spent nearly a decade locked away in a bunker under the cruel and watchful eye of Ezekiel Sims. After escaping, and with a newfound taste for freedom, Cindy is determined to rejoin society as the superhero she never had the chance to be.  Along her journey, she is joined by Black Cat and fellow arachnids Spider-man and Spider-woman. Silk brings a whole new meaning to New York’s Finest.
