Some internet sleuths think we have more to look forward to this weekend.
Kendrick Lamar released his latest album, DAMN., less than 24 hours ago, but that's plenty of time for a fan theory to float around the internet. As most of you know, Easter is this Sunday, and on that day Jesus resurrected. Piecing together some Sounwave tweets and DAMN. interpretations, some internet sleuths have deciphered that the Compton rapper will be treating us with another set of songs on Sunday.
But what if I told you... that's not the official version..

Reddit was the first platform to host the theory, and it begins with events from the album opener, "Blood," in which Kendrick seemingly gets killed. Today (April 14) is Good Friday, the day Jesus died, meaning Sunday is the day of the resurrection.
So what's with the Matrix tweet then?
If you look closely at the photo of Morpheus, you can see in his glasses reflection of the red and blue pills that were integral to the series' storyline. In last month's "The Heart Part 4," Lamar rapped "With TOC, you see the flames." According to the Easter x Matrix theorists, "TOC" is an acronym for "the other color." So if red is the prominent color on the DAMN. album cover, we should expect its blue counterpart, hopefully this Sunday.
Some fans believe the second album will be entitled Nation. Does your brain hurt yet?
