The moment the Fate of the Furious trailer dropped, hearts sank. The Fast family’s patriarch, Dom (Vin Diesel), betrays his clan and embraces the evil ways of what appears to be the most dangerous of the series’ villains, Charlize Theron’s Cipher.
Furious 7 was one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion in global box office and currently sits as the sixth highest grossing film ever. It’s no surprise that another chapter would arrive sooner than later. Sadly, the series has to live on without star Paul Walker, who perished in a car crash in 2013. A family rallies and this one is no different.
