Born Helena Atherton, producer, singer and songwriter Helena Legend renamed herself to highlight just exactly how empowered her sound is. Brassy productions, catchy melodies and trap that’s not really dirty, but helluv hooky, her EP No Explanations Part 1 is a 3-track set that has it all. In "RU Feelin It," she collaborates with producing duo LYRE. Trained on the cello and piano, Legend has used her classical training to release hit after hit; an early song, "Legend," even spawned the name of her loyal followers: "Helena's Legends."
