Surprisingly, it’s not the David Lynch-directed version of the music video that went down in history, but the one created by fashion photographer Herb Ritts Jr. There wasn’t anything wicked about the beach love affair of Chris Isaak and Danish top model Helena Christensen (who would later date INXS’ Michael Hutchence, Norman Reedus and Interpol’s Paul Banks). But the dreamy black and white video perfectly captured seducing vibes of the song and turned into one of the most beloved make-out soundtracks ever.
