Whistle along to the post-rock band's catchy new song.

Longing for some nostalgic guitar-driven pop? Look no further than this trio from Ontario, Canada. Laughed the Boy is ready to release a new album, Here Is Fine, on February 10.  Clearly inspired by '90s indie rock, Laughed the Boy’s records are there to transfer you to your favorite teenage getaway. Today’s soundtrack for your walk down the memory lane is “Autumn,” and you can listen to it below, exclusively on Myspace.

“Sometimes I deal with stress by convincing myself I don’t care about whatever it is that’s stressing me out,” says the band’s frontman Chris Panacci. “'Autumn' presents the two sides of my psyche that go back and forth between worrying and indifference. It questions how some people seem to reach their goals so easily while for others it feels like you keep putting in the time without seeing results. Sometimes you let it bug you but other times there’s this weird relief in accepting that you don’t always have control over what happens to you.”

Panacci knows what he's talking about when he mentions losing control. Just press play on this tune and feel an immediate uncontrolled urge to start humming along.
