It's the first in a series of documentaries which places emphasis on the three-piece's strong connection with their fans across the globe

The xx have shared a new mini tour documentary which celebrates the band’s close relationship with their fanbase – watch We See You Berlin below.

The clip was filmed on the recent Berlin leg of their ‘I See You’ world tour, which supported the release of the three-piece’s third studio album.

Directed by Berlin-based filmmaker Sylvie Weber, the film features never-before-seen footage of The xx on tour, including interviews, live footage and ‘intimate portraits’ of some of the people who attended the band’s headline performance at September’s Lollapalooza festival, which was held in the German capital.

We See You Berlin aims to position The xx’s strong connection with their fanbase at the center of the film, while it also documents the band’s affinity with Berlin. The clip is also the first in a series of tour documentaries that the band plans to release in due course.
