The Girl of Steel returns Monday night on the CW, and EW has another exclusive first look from the season 3 premiere.

In this new sneak peek, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) are tailing a bad guy who’s just about ready to kill them when Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) swoops in to save the day. But you may notice something’s a bit different about Kara: Gone are the pithy quips, and instead we find a darker Kara who is all business. (Read more about that here and here.)
