"I feel like I've loved George Michael as long as I've kind of loved music..."
The Late Late Show With James Corden returned on January 3, and James finally was able to express his feelings about the passing of George Michael.
"I feel like I've loved George Michael as long as I've kind of loved music, in a way," James told the audience. "I can remember so many specific times in my life where I might have felt on my own, and George's music would feel like you would listen to a song, and he would reach his hand out and tell you that you weren't on your own, and that these feelings were not particular to you."
What people didn't know was the now famous "Carpool Karaoke" was born from a skit that James did with George for the UK charity, Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. And while that was done back in 2011, James shared the clip with everyone. And you can't help but get the feels.
