Going acoustic isn’t easy, but we think these artists would’ve been amazing on Unplugged.
Sugar Ray
Sugar Ray, the metal band that became a pop-rock band, would've been a perfect choice for Unplugged. Songs like “Every Morning,” “Someday” and “When It’s Over” are halfway to being acoustic songs as is. The entire vibe of the performance would likely be that of a laid back jam session, and that’s a jam session we’d like to attend.
Everclear
Everclear have always had a lot of heart in their lyrics, and stripping down “Wonderful,” “Father of Mine” and “I Will Buy You a New Life” would likely give those songs … well … a new life. We imagine some tears would be shed in the audience during such performances, but hey, that’s the power of great songwriting, and going unplugged.
