Welcome to the jungle, Nick!
The new Jumanji movie has already been filming for a bit now. However, it looks like there's a new face that's walking around the jungle: Nick Jonas.
And what better way to make the official announcement than by an Instagram post by The Rock. Dwayne Johnson posted the news on his IG account on Tuesday (September 27) and said, "Officially welcoming my guy @NickJonas to #Jumanji. Great dude, great positive energy and very talented. He’s gonna kill this role like I kill things with my bare hands. The jungle awaits. The adventure continues. And ironically the one who sings the most on set is Jack Black. #OnLocation #Hawaii #WelcomeToTheFamilyNick #Jumanji."
Nick also shared the new on his feed. "DJ and I looking tough. JUMANJI It's going down... This cast, crew and creative team are incredible. So pumped to be alongside @therock @kevinhart4real @jackblack @karengillanofficial in this epic adventure. The journey continues. #hawaii #jumanji," the "Bacon" singer captioned the pic.
There are no details on what role Nick has in the film, but we do know that the movie itself is supposed to be a continuation of the original 1995 film, starring the late Robin Williams. Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillian will also being starring in the film. It's set to premiere in theaters on July 28, 2017.
