The Cohen brothers probably aren't involved in the film.

It sounds like John Turturro is making his dream for a Big Lebowski spin-off a reality. The actor/director is currently filming a new project, and news just broke that it may be a spinoff of the cult comedy.

Taking its plot from the 1974 French comedy Going Places, the film will be centered around Turturro's Jesus Quintana character. And it sounds delightfully absurd.

Turturro's character and his partner (played by Bobby Cannavale) are two petty thieves who "compete to give a woman her first orgasm after she's roped into their hijinks," according to Birth Movies Death.

It doesn't look like Joel and Ethan Cohen are involved and the production is definitely in its earliest stages. But don't be surprised if you see Jesus Quintana onscreen again. We'll keep you updated.

In the meantime, revisit Jesus' antics in a clip from The Big Lebowski below.
