Spoiler: The legendary German filmmaker really likes it.

Werner Herzog hasn't heard of Kanye West, but he loves the mastermind's controversial video for "Famous."

"I have never seen anything like this," noted Herzog in a segment for The Daily Beast. Featuring realistic, naked wax busts of celebrities like Donald Trump, Taylor Swift and Rihanna, it's certainly a sight to be seen.

Herzog doesn't just leave it at that, though. "This video gives you space for creating your separate parallel story," he said. "And you keep thinking, are these people for real? Are they doppelgängers? And what could be the story of them? What are they doing? How have they partied? What brought them together? So all of a sudden, the rapper gives me the chance to completely go wild on my own story."

The 73-year-old filmmaker liked what he heard of West's rapping, too, calling it "very well done."
