"After five years without a Sharknado attack, they're back," begins the trailer for the upcoming sequel.

Called Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, the newest film in the popular series features all of the action and campy silliness that you've come to expect from the series. And some Star Wars references. 

“We stole a little bit from Star Wars. There’s a Kylo Ren sword-chainsaw that we use," said cast member Ian Ziering recently at Comic-Con in San Diego (via Entertainment Weekly). “[There’s] a lot of different weapons — a ditch witch, a kind of thing that goes in the ground and digs trenches along the highway. It’s got this big chain on it. And we have a [mechanical] suit…with chainsaw arms.”

Tara Reid, David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman all return for Sharknado 4, which premieres on SyFy July 31 at 8pm ET/PT. Get ready for flying sharks, over-the-top theatrics... and lots of chainsaws.
