UK alt-rockers provide late night excitement with their latest clip.

Secret Company made waves in their native UK with their debut EP, Saviour, which was released in 2015, and they’ve been releasing great single after great single ever since. Their latest is “Midnight Rush,” and what a rush it is.

Myspace has the exclusive US premiere of the video for “Midnight Rush,” and it’s a late night thrill ride filled with tension, and excitement. Everyone’s had a midnight rush, or two, in their life, and Secret Company’s is one to remember. Watch the video below.

We caught up with Secret Company lead singer and guitarist, Scott Revell, to find out more about the video, and the song.

What was the concept behind the video for “Midnight Rush?”

The concept behind the video for "Midnight Rush" was a narrative of me going to meet someone, and all that you see in the video — masks, girl with gun, etc. — are visual metaphors of what's going on in my head on the journey.

I read the song started with a Roy Orbison "I Drove All Night" incentive, but then became dark. What do you think brought about this dark influence, and how do you feel it makes the song what it is?

It started off with more of an innocent motive, and then as we were naturally developing the song as a band, it became more dark, which we found much more interesting, so we went down that road. It was still sticking to the concept, but was far more exciting for us.

Do you have a particularly interesting midnight rush from your own life you can tell us about?

Ha ha! I guess you could call my midnight rush a time in my life where I started seeing a girl and we lived a distance apart, so I usually had to drive late at night to see her. It felt like I was impulsively sneaking off late at night/early hours while everyone was at home in bed. I was on a mission to the unknown of what might become of the situation, which was a bit of a rush in itself, I guess you could say.
