Prince would have been 58 today. But even though he's no longer with us, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate his birthday as well as his legacy. And TIDAL is doing just that by releasing 15 of his albums on its streaming service. So for the first time since 2015, when the late artist took all his music off all the web's streaming services, his music will be available (HITNRUN Phase and HITNRUN Phase Two were only available on TIDAL).

"After one meeting, it was obvious that Jay Z and the team he has assembled at TIDAL recognize and applaud the effort that real musicians put in2 their craft 2 achieve the very best they can at this pivotal time in the music industry," Prince explained in a statement in August 2015 via (Billboard). "TIDAL have honored Us with a non-restrictive arrangement that once again allows Us to continue making art in the fashion We've grown accustomed 2 and We're Extremely grateful 4 their generous support."

Aside from the musical celebration, Minnesota's governor declared today (June 7) "Prince Day" to honor the late singer, who was born in Minneapolis and built Paisley Park in Chanhassen, MN.
