These tracks won't leave you high and dry this Memorial Day.

The end of May usually means one thing: the beginning of summer! And as we celebrate Memorial Day (aka the time when people can get down to their bathing suits and drink endlessly on a Monday), we figured we'd help out your festivities by putting together a list of tracks to add to your pool party playlist. And even if you don't have the day off, it doesn't mean you can't play these tunes and pretend like you're hanging out by the pool.

"All My Friends" - Snakeships f/ Tinashe and Chance the Rapper

Whether it's the mid-tempo beat or Tinashe and Chance the Rapper's soothing vocals, "All My Friends" by Snakeships is just one of those tracks that will set the tone for any kind of pool party. While it doesn't put anyone for the mood for a rager, its relaxed vibe would be great for those crowds where people are still stuck on their work grind mindset. All you'll need to do is play this track, hand your friends some drinks (and maybe other goodies) and just fall into a relaxed moment.

"Can't Stop the Feeling" - Justin Timberlake

While most songs out of Justin Timberlake's music-making factory become hits right off the bat, his new tune, "Can't Stop the Feeling," was an instant hit. It wasn't just because we missed JT and love anything he releases, but it's also due to the fact that it's just a great feel good song. From the moment you hear the opening piano chords, you know something funky fresh is about to start. From the bouncing bass line to chorus singing, "Got this feeling in my body," you can't help but get up and just dance. Deemed 2016's "Happy," this tune will be perfect to get your friends who are slowly fading after a few margaritas to get up and groove along with the beat.

"Water" - Ra Ra Riot

While the video for "Water" has Ra Ra Riot frontman Wes Miles in search for the ocean and seems more intense than the purposes of this list, the song is the perfect addition to a poolside playlist. The moment you hear the lyrics, "So I crawled out of the back door / Took off all these tight clothes / Jumped into the water," it'll likely inspire you to do the same—regardless of how inebriated you are. The temperatures are rising after all. Why not take a dip and cool off?

"Cake by the Ocean" - DNCE

Joe Jonas made his comeback with his '80s dance rock band DNCE and caught everyone's attention with their debut single, "Cake by the Ocean." While they've dropped new singles since then, the song is so fitting for not only the opening weekend of summer, but also for those who are looking for some fun by the pool. Joe has admitted that the song title came from the Swedish producers they were working with and was their miscommunicated version of "sex on the beach." Not only is the song cheeky, but the video's promotion of the Tinder alternative dating app, Bumble, may spark some playful fun at any pool festivities, too.

"Cool for the Summer" - Demi Lovato

From one innuendo to another, Demi Lovato's "Cool for the Summer" was not just 2015's version of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"—it also added lots of play around the pool. While we're not telling the ladies to start experimenting with each other (though Demi would surely approve), the song itself is a great one for the pool party tracklist and should continuing playing throughout the summer. Who knows what can happen when this song start playing? Maybe you'll find your fling for the season.

 "Summer" - Calvin Harris

Nothing says summer time than scantily clad women lounging in their bikinis, rogue racing through the desert and cars hopped up on the hydraulics. And luckily for Calvin Harris and his video for "Summer," he got all three. While the visuals easily convey one person's version of what the hot season would be like, the song itself is perfect for any pool party. With all the high and low tempo points on the track, people can listen to it while lying on the lounge chair with a frozen cocktail or playing crazy games in the water. Let's face it when it comes to party music, Calvin really knows how to do it right.

"waves" - Miguel

Miguel is a man who knows how to have fun. Whether it's sex, alcohol and just having an overall good time, he seems to enjoy singing about it all. And he really tells us how he enjoys going with the ebb and flow of things on his track, "waves." Lyrics aside, the video also throws the alt-R&B singer into a bottomless body of water where beautiful women swim around him, making us believe he's in some alternate state. Regardless of what he could have been on while coming up with the concept for the visual, "waves" will have that affect on you and is perfect for chilling out and getting in those sun rays.

"Island in the Sun" - Weezer

This one is an oldie but, without a doubt, a goodie. Weezer's "Island in the Sun" off their 2001 self-titled album is one of those songs that will always make you feel like you're enjoying the California sun—no matter where you are. From it's laissez-faire guitar strumming at the top of the track followed by a series of continuous "hip hips," the throwback tune instantly eases all your cares away. And sure, there are a few moments when it breaks out into the rock music we know them to make. However, it quickly transitions back into the relaxing pace that will take you into dreamland as you lie on that gigantic inflatable swan in the middle of the pool.
