She tosses the vintage and goes for a sultry look.
While videos like "All About That Bass" and "Dear Future Husband" had a candy-coated and vintage vibe, Meghan Trainor throws that look out the window for her new track, "No."
From the moment you press "play" on the track, you hear a different Meghan shining through. Although her unapologetic and outspoken sass shined on her previous songs, this one slaps you in the face with it. Directed by Fatima Robinson, who also did her "All About That Bass" video, the video takes you back to the grittyness of '90s music videos. Shot on an industrial set, the visual carries no storyline but has some nice choreography and a shiny green trench that reminds us of Missy Elliott's "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" video.
This looks like a departure from the sweet yet spicy Meghan, but we like it. Watch the video below.
