If you tuned in to Adele's performance on Monday night (February 15), you would have seen an unfortunate performance by the British chanteuse. As she belted out a heartfelt rendition of "All I Ask," the sound gods (and the Grammy audio team) weren't on her side as her mic went in and out and a constant string noise resonated. Despite the technical difficulties, she powered through with grace. But no one could ignore what was happening.

Despite the tech issues, Adele kept her composure and then hopped on Twitter to explain the problem as well as revealed that she'd be skipping the parties for a greasy beef patty. 

The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X
