To borrow frontman Matt Healy's words, "It’s not really like the song, but it’s good."
You've never heard the 1975 like this before. Today, the band behind the INXS-inspired "The Sound" and "Love Me" paid a visit to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge to cover Justin Bieber's "Sorry." In their hands, the dancehall-meets-EDM smash was transformed, in host Clara Amfo's words, into a song that Dâm-Funk or D'Angelo would put out, complete with Kenny G-inspired sax.
The 1975's sophomore album, I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, is out February 26. For now, watch the band's cover of Justin Bieber's "Sorry" below.
