Bask in the disco goodness from this Seattle three-piece.

The Gods Themselves want you to get down. Atop a bed of ‘80s shimmer, “Cool” is the spacey disco single you didn’t know you needed. It’s the latest from the Seattle art rockers that believe in the magic of the dance floor.

It’s a tightly wound retro pop song with an undeniably catchy chorus (“Everything I do / Everything I say / It’s gonna be cool”). And it has a simple, uplifting message.

"I am hugely moved by Giorgio Moroder. So this is my take on a breathy, Donna Summer type late night, gay disco, cocaine induced dance song,” says vocalist and guitarist Astra Elane to Myspace. “It is an anthem for all the hearts who long to be recognized for their individuality and greatness."

“Cool” is off of their upcoming full-length, Be My Animal, out on January 20. Listen below.
