The music of Ben Folds Five ranges from the deeply personal to wildly colorful, and no matter which version of his work you prefer (for the record, we love both), we have a feeling there’s a great story behind every one of his songs. He also seems like he has the right personality for an episode of Storytellers, as we think he’d have some fun with the format.

I know what you’re thinking, because we’re thinking it, too: how on earth was there never an episode of Storytellers featuring U2? From their inception through the early-90s, the biggest Irish band of all-time gave us hits that ranged from the heartfelt to the political. Also, we’re talking about Bono here, who loves to talk. This would’ve been a match made in TV Heaven.
