Jordan Gavaris

Where you know him from: Gavaris plays Felix Dawkins on the BBC America sci-fi drama Orphan Black. He deals with the many clones of his adoptive sister that have all become part of his very unique extended family.

His role on Degrassi: For two episodes Gavaris played Nathan, a potential love interest of Degrassi star quarterback Riley Stavros, but at the time of their meeting Riley isn’t out of the closet, or anywhere near comfortable with his sexuality.

Shenae Grimes-Beech

Where you know her from: Grimes-Beech starred in the reboot of 90210 as Annie Wilson, and was in Scream 4.

Her role on Degrassi: One of the most memorable characters in the show’s long history, Grimes-Beech played Darcy Edwards, who captained the school’s Spirit Squad, but whose life took a dark turn after she was drugged and raped while attending a party. The results of this were a case of chlamydia, and some serious mental instability. Once she came to terms with what happened to her, she left Degrassi during her senior year to build schools in Kenya.
