It's an emotive, lovesick power-pop cut from the Boston-based rockers.

Love is difficult. That’s certainly no secret, but each way it’s explained illuminates new light on just how difficult it can be. For power poppers The Susan Constant, "The Hour Hand" puts it in the context of time, saying "You’re the second hand / you’re spinning ‘round my head" and "I’m the hour hand / I can’t move quite as fast."

“The Hour Hand was one of the first songs we demoed for the project, and we knew right away it had a home," the band explains. "Its methodical build is the perfect counter to the punch of the rest of the album. And its reflective lyrics and emotion bursts tie the EP together."

"The Hour Hand" comes off of The Susan Constant's new album Wherever It Is You Are Now, out tomorrow (November 12).
