From doing the Whip to not feeling your face, here are the songs that sum up this summer...

It's Labor Day, and though summer doesn't technically end until September 23, let's face it, this holiday kind of signifies the end. As we barbecue, swim and wear white for the last day of the year, we'll need a soundtrack to celebrate the last glorious three months of sunshine. Summer 2015 gave us some good tuneage and even better dance moves (don't pretend like you didn't try to do the whip/nae nae, even if it was only in front of your bathroom mirror). Below are the Top 8 songs that we think encapsulate summer 2015.

Fetty Wap — "Trap Queen"

Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" may have come out last year, but it was this summer that the Haitian rapper's song became a hit. It's been played at every club, on every radio station; hell, Ed Sheeran even covered it. We dare you to listen to this song and not be at least humming it for the rest of the day.

Silentó — Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

Silentó's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" has got to be the dance of the summer. You'd be lying to us and yourself if you said you didn't try it at least once, and some people (like this adorable pregnant mom and her little daughter) even filmed it. Okay, a lot of people probably filmed themselves doing it, that's just a cute example.

Taylor Swift f/ Kendrick Lamar — "Bad Blood"

Even if you're not a Swifty, you have to admit this song is pretty damn catchy (and Kendrick's verses? Pure fire, as per usual). Also, probably the most badass video of the year (the MTV VMAs thought so, crowning it Video of the Year). With T-Swift plotted against her BFF Selena Gomez and cameos from Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams, Lena Dunham and Cindy Crawford, among others, what's not to love?

Jack Ü f/ Justin Bieber — "Where Are Ü Now"

Say what you will about a Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber collaboration, but they nailed it with the song. The Biebs' soft vocals over Jack Ü's tropical beats make "Where Are Ü Now" the best summer sunset song this year. Even in the winter, we'll be listening to this and dreaming of our feet scrunched in the beach's warm sand.

Walk The Moon — "Shut Up And Dance"

Okay, so this song may have come out almost a year ago, but come on...is there a better summer indie-pop song this year? The '80s vibes are so great, and that synth solo? *Swoons*

Mark Ronson f/ Bruno Mars — "Uptown Funk"

Here's another song that came out in the winter but was really meant for the summer. Bruno, you really are too hot, and so is that funky bass line...Hot damn, indeed.

The Weeknd — "Can't Feel My Face"

The Michael Jackson influence in The Weeknd's latest single, "Can't Feel My Face," is uncanny—and that's a good thing. The R&B crooner pulls from the world of funk to produce his most infectious single to date and turn some heads to swell his already impressive fan base.

Wiz Khalifa f/ Charlie Puth — "See You Again"

Yes, this Fast and Furious 7 tribute to the late Paul Walker is a little somber for a summer soundtrack, but how many times did you belt this out with the windows down in your car? (It's okay, we lost count too.)
