Their long-term working relationship may be coming to an end.

T.I. used to come to Iggy Azalea's defense. Now they haven't spoken in six months, T.I. says—never mind that Iggy is still a member of his rap crew Hustle Gang.

"[E]verything was cool, and then [Iggy's team] kind of came back and undid what I had just [accomplished],” T.I. said to HOT 97. “I’ma be all the way real, I’m a loyal partner. If I rock with you I’m gon’ rock with you…I really do feel that they just needed a little more time to adjust, which I feel they can do. They have the talent, they have the charisma."

He's talking about last year, when Azealia Banks gave a tearful interview about the erasure of black artists in both hip-hop and pop. "Make it racial! make it political! Make it whatever, but I guarantee it won't make you likable," Iggy said, which prompted A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip to provide some historical context (read: hip-hop is racial and political, period).

T.I. had stepped in to smooth relations over, only for Iggy to say that she found Q-Tip's points to be "patronizing."

Iggy herself has yet to comment, though she likely will soon. Watch T.I.'s interview below.
