Initially, Kit Harington left no room for interpretation when he talked Jon Snow's fate in the fifth season finale of Game of Thrones. "Jon dies. It's final. He's dead," he said to Vulture this summer.

But in a new interview with Belgian weekly Humo, as translated to English by a Redditor, Kit tells a different story.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," Kit, age 28, says. "One thing's for sure: The day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."

Kit was already suspected to return to the HBO hit. This summer he flew to Belfast, where the show's production offices are located. But as Reddit notes, this chat may be the first time where Kit admits that actually, Jon Snow may not be "deader than dead," as he once phrased it.
