This will be his third directorial effort.

RZA just scored his third directorial effort. Breakout, written by Richard D'Ovidio, is about a photographer who is wrongfully arrested in Bangladesh for drug trafficking, Variety reports. Breakout follows 2011's The Man with the Iron Fists,  the kung fu flick that RZA was born to direct (and star in, and score, and co-write with Eli Roth), and Coco, the upcoming hip-hop drama that stars Azealia Banks as an aspiring hip-hop star in Brooklyn.

Obviously not much is known about Breakout at this time. Since The Man with the Iron Fists, though, RZA has made clear that he wants to continue working in Hollywood.

"First of all Woody Allen is my buddy," RZA says to Hollywood.com (below). "I'm a movie buff. I watch all movies. The style that I've mastered, I would think, would be this genre. But I think I'll bring more to the table too, because I'm continuing to study and dissect movies. I love science fiction like Star Wars. ... I will not be pigeonholed to making action films."

The Woody Allen film that RZA has seen the most is Hannah and Her Sisters.
