Today, Emma Bunton—you know her as Baby Spice—responded to the headlines.

"I promise you: If anything is in contract, if anything is concrete and is happening, I will let you know," she said on Heart London, where she's a morning co-host. "But it's just, nothing is happening at the moment. Now, let's play some Jason Derulo."

Off Twitter, however, Bunton asked if she needed to start wearing pigtails again. She was responding to Melanie Chisholm, or Sporty Spice, who wondered if she should start practicing her backflips. Then she retweeted the Sun reporter behind the story, who said, "And a note from me to people saying Emma 'denied' story this AM. She didn't.
