It's called 'Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz.'
Last night Miley Cyrus released a free album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. She announced it to end the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, which she hosted (so, a night that she mostly spent acting like it was 2013 all over again, especially when she called back to twerking on Robin Thicke during the VMAs that same year, which, yawn). Fortunately, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz reminds us of how she has changed since Bangerz. This time, Miley is working with Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne. Somewhat predictably, this leads to her dabbling in psychedelia-tinged garage rock, though this way she seems freer to sound as vulnerable as she did in Bangerz's rare bright spots ("Adore You," "My Darlin" featuring Future).
